The Graveyard Don’t Lie: Stories from Families Affected by Police Violence
February 6 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm PST$100.00
About this event
“If we don’t change, nothing changes.” – Kim Handy-Jones
You’ve read the headlines about police violence. But for every lost life that makes the news, there are dozens who don’t. The Graveyard Don’t Lie is an opportunity to hear from and support families who have been directly affected by police violence.
On February 6, Ms. Kim Handy-Jones will talk with people who have lost loved ones to police violence.
Come hear the stories of their lives; bear witness to the human cost of the United States’ policing system; and learn how you can show up in the movement for justice.
Proceeds benefit the Cordale Q. Handy In Remembrance of Me Foundation, providing headstones and financial assistance to families affected by police violence.
